Vesna Gjeleva Co Founder & CEO
Originally from Macedonia, Vesna began her professional journey in media at just 14 years old, working in both radio and TV. Her early career developed rapidly, and she became the youngest Producer and Chief Editor of a national television morning and entertainment program in Macedonia.
This experience shaped the communication, leadership, storytelling and people skills that remain central to her work today.Vesna studied at Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law, Department of Journalism, combining her academic background with extensive hands-on experience in media, production, marketing and communications.
She moved to Dubai at the beginning of 2012 and has worked in Dubai real estate since then, building more than a decade of experience across sales, luxury residential real estate, marketing, business development and team management. Coming from a family with a background in construction and property development, real estate was a natural progression, combining her interest in property with her entrepreneurial mindset and strong understanding of people and markets.
Over the years, Vesna has worked with investors, property owners, developers, buyers, sellers and real estate professionals from many different nationalities and backgrounds. Her approach is direct, strategic and relationship-driven, with a strong focus on understanding the bigger picture rather than simply completing a transaction.
In 2021, Vesna and her sister Marija founded their own company, bringing together their complementary experience and vision to build a company focused on real estate, education and business development.
Today, through Duna Group, Vesna combines her experience in real estate, education, marketing, media and entrepreneurship to build modern solutions for property professionals, investors and companies.
She is particularly passionate about making complex real estate information easier to understand and turning knowledge, data and experience into practical business decisions.
Beyond real estate, Vesna is a public speaker, content creator and educator. She continues to build businesses with a long-term vision, combining traditional relationship-based values with modern technology, education and market intelligence.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, discovering new places, spending time at the beach, reading, art, tennis, good food and anything that brings a little adventure into everyday life. She is also a devoted dog lover and shares her home and adventures with her toy poodle, Bijou, who has become a much-loved part of the Duna family story
